What are the tensions between the mobile act of taking a photo and the fixed nature of a captured image? Photographs were printed on clear film and hung near its original location of capture. A viewer’s subjectivity is activated as they move around the photograph and object to see new spatial relations, mimicking the act of taking a photograph itself. Can I extend the mobility of the image and confront the limitations of a single perspective suspended in time?
